A wooden gem, a story of the sea.
Some boats are bought, and others are inherited—along with their very soul. The Milana U is one of the latter: an authentic Mallorcan vessel built in 1973 at the prestigious Bennasar shipyards, entirely by hand, at a time when ships were still crafted piece by piece with a level of craftsmanship that’s hard to find today. Measuring 44 palmos (10.10 m) in length, with a hardwood hull and timeless classic lines, this laúd is not just a boat: it is a living testament to a way of understanding sailing and loving the sea along our coasts.
An Exemplary Restoration In 2011, the Milana U underwent a comprehensive hull restoration at the Club Marítimo de Barcelona shipyard, and since then has been maintained with a level of care evident in every detail: well-varnished wooden decks and superstructure, impeccable cabin upholstery, and a state of preservation that maritime surveys themselves rate as excellent.
